Events Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate event promotion with the marketing team.

  • Oversee on-site setup, execution, and breakdown.

  • Ensure legal compliance and safety at events.

  • Collect feedback and analyze event success post-event.

Requirements:

  • Proven event coordination experience; knowledge of event software (e.g., Eventbrite).

  • Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Secretary

Responsibilities:

  • Manage virtual administrative tasks: scheduling, correspondence.

  • Handle remote communications efficiently, including emails.

  • Coordinate virtual meetings and events.

  • Maintain confidentiality and prioritise tasks independently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Design promotional materials such as flyers, banners, and social media posts.

  • Create visual content for social media.

  • Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinators on campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).

  • Experience in creating social media graphics and visual storytelling.

  • Understanding of visual branding and ability to create cohesive, eye-catching designs.

  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Sponsorship Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential sponsors to secure funding and partnerships.

  • Develop and present sponsorship proposals tailored to sponsor objectives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors to ensure long-term collaboration.

  • Oversee sponsorship agreements, ensuring deliverables are met on both sides.

  • Coordinate with marketing and event teams to integrate sponsor branding effectively.

  • Track sponsorship performance and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in sponsorship acquisition, business development, or sales.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other stakeholders on financial decisions.

Social Media Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a social media account (Instagram or Tiktok)

  • Develop and manage a content calendar for social media platforms.

  • Collaborate with the Content Creators and Graphic Designers to ensure content is aligned with the club’s brand and mission.

  • Analyse social media metrics to track growth and engagement, adjusting strategies as necessary

Requirements:

  • Experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, & Tiktok).

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Understanding of social media trends and tools for scheduling and analysis (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer).

  • Ability to create a sense of community and connection through social media.

  • Passion for all things relating to BW.

    Community Moderator

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and moderate conversations on our community server to ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.

    • Facilitate discussions around current topics related to Black women and building sisterhood.

    • Respond to member inquiries, help resolve conflicts, and provide support to members who need assistance navigating the server.

    • Occasionally organise and host virtual events or discussions within the server, such as Q&A sessions, no-filter chats, or themed discussions.

    Requirements:

    • Experience using online servers such as Discord, Whatsapp and familiarity with community management tools.

    • Strong communication skills and a high level of empathy and patience.

    • A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space for Black women.
